FLASH FICTION FRIDAY - THE 'OTHER' MAN

She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye.  His cigarette hung from between his lips, a laconic smile lifting the corners of his mouth.  As always, he was sated and content — which was good, one of them ought to be. She sighed and shot him a forced smile as he put his arm around her, and pulled her close against him.  Of course she wouldn’t tell him, she never did.  She’d just wait until Mr Two Pumps and a Squirt had gone to sleep and then she’d sneak off to meet her ‘other’ man… Reggie the rabbit.
