This week's six comes from Continental Divide, a mystery romance I am working on with Laura Harner, centred around Inspector James Mainwaring, forty-second Duke of Fordham, and Detective Remington (Remy) who are brought together when the cases they are working on have caught the eye of Interpol. Forced to work together, will they be able to fight their growing attraction for each other, while untangling the web of intrigue that involves cops, diplomats and those at the very top of the politics tree...

Let me set the scene:  Remy has just got out of the shower in a cheap and nasty hotel in London when there's a knock at the door.  Opening it, he finds Jamie Mainwaring on the other side.
Jamie wonders what the hell he's doing in this dive and when the door opens to reveal all chiseled chest and ruggedly handsome...he's wondering what he's stumbled into....

Continental Divide

“Who the hell are you?” Jamie asked incredulously, not expecting to find himself staring down the barrel of a gun. Regardless of the gorgeous hunk of man-flesh at the other end of it. Rephrase that, the naked gorgeous hunk of man-flesh at the other end of it, as the man's loosely secured towel slipped to the floor. His gaze traveled slowly over the man’s ruggedly handsome face and down the muscled planes of his torso. Pausing longer than was perhaps polite on the long thick length of the man’s cock laying heavy against his thigh, and he tried not to lick his lips as he continued down the muscled legs to the bare feet poking from beneath the dropped towel on the floor. Maybe a little homespun and unrefined for Jamie's tastes, but undeniably gorgeous all the same. “Well, I feel slightly over-dressed,” he drawled sarcastically.
