I have two signed copies of Summer Heat to giveaway!

All you have to do is leave me a comment telling me what memories are sparked for you when you hear thunder. Then one of my assistants (okay, my children) will pick two names out of the hat (okay, my hand!) on Sunday 26 November. Good luck! And don't forget to leave your email addy!

After a car accident which left him scarred and his best friend dead, Mitch Spencer retreats to his family’s vacation home to heal. He has no idea the turn his life is about to take when there’s a knock at the door.

Kade Lewis is good at one thing, and one thing only, theft. The Spencer house was supposed to be empty so now he needs to rethink his game plan. After years of keeping others out, it’s Mother Nature herself who throws an unexpected obstacle in his way; in the shape of Mitch Spencer.

Forced to spend time together when they’re cut off by flash floods, will the two men be able to vanquish their inner demons and find each other? Or will their pasts be too much to overcome?

  1. I'll start...

When I hear thunder I have a vivid image of my dad standing at my parents' bedroom window highlighted in lightning while I'm snuggled under the bed covers with my mum.

  2. i remember my mom coming to my room, and cajoling me to sing with her. a pair of geese, we were

  3. When I was a child if we had thunder at night me, my sister, mum and dad (plus Trudy our dog) would settle on the sofa under blankets and ride out the storm there. I miss my. Mum and dad so much.

  4. I love thunder and lightning storms and so does Kali my daughter. We watch them together from the comfort of the back stable door where we can stay dry and see and hear the excitement :D Childhood memories... hmmm, I remember seeing poltergeist where they count the seconds between the thunder and lightning during a storm to see if it's coming or going. I still do that to this day and now my daughter does it too. I remember being stuck up a tree once in the park when a thunder and lightning storm hit. We were collecting conkers at the time lol. Scared but safe once it had gone. :D

  5. oh I used to love thunderstorms, sitting on the window seat watching the rain come down, counting in between thunder and lightening to see how close or far away it was.

  6. I used to be very scared when we had thunderstorms and my Grandma used to tell me that when it thundered that God and his angels were bowling :)
