NEW RELEASE - MR POPSALOS (25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS)

RELEASE DATE - 19 DECEMBER 2011

A single parent for six years, Luke Fisher has become painfully aware that having a kid makes him less dateable. Rather than set himself up for the inevitable fall, he has given up on finding someone. After all, he has everything he needs—a beautiful son, a good job, and a supportive family. He doesn’t need anything or anyone else…does he?

He didn’t think so until two weeks before Christmas when he meets Jamie in a bar while out with some colleagues. The man is undoubtedly the hottest thing Luke has ever seen. One glance into beautiful eyes tells him the feeling is mutual. But will the attraction fade once Jamie finds out about Reggie? After an amazing night together, Luke decides to pre-empt the heartache and throws away Jamie’s number, thinking he will never see him again…

*******

Luke shook his head. "I am not going up to the bar so you can watch me make a fool of myself," he hissed, taking another draw of his own drink.
"Sweetie, I'll make a fool of you right where you sit, if you don't get your sexy little ass over to the bar right now," Angie responded, her voice raising an octave with each word.
"Okay, okay," he grumbled, rising to his feet and squeezing out of the booth. He couldn't believe she was making him do this. The last time he'd given his pick-up lines an airing, Charlie Sheen still had a career; as for getting laid… he'd probably need an instruction manual.
Trying desperately not to stare at the man's denim clad ass as he walked, Luke made his way through the small groups of people and leant as nonchalantly as he could against the bar beside him. He glanced at the man's profile out of the corner of his eye and his dick twitched traitorously in his pants. The guy had been hot from across the room; close up he was breathtaking, and Luke could only hope he didn't actually drool. Reaching into his back pocket, he pulled out his wallet, grabbed a twenty, and held the bill between his fingers where it would hopefully attract the bartender's attention, eventually.
"She's right, you know."
Luke flushed as the deep voice washed over him, the sound of it causing chills to trickle down his spine. "Excuse me?" he managed.
"You are fucking gorgeous."
Luke flushed, turning his head to look into cornflower blue eyes. "Um…thank you," he mumbled, twisting the twenty dollar bill between his fingers.
"Sorry, I don't mean to make you uncomfortable," the stranger said. "Sound carries well in here and I'm sure she meant to whisper." He held out a hand to Luke and smiled. "I'm Jamie."
