FRIDAY FRIENDS - CHRIS QUINTON!

Joining me today is the ever-lovely and uber-talented, Chris Quinton, who not only is my pal, she has also been by beta on several of my projects and sorted the wheat from the chaff, which is another reason I adore her and I'm sure you all do, too!

Thank you for joining me on the sofa, Chris and for agreeing to answer some questions for me...

1.         So who is Chris Quinton? - She is a rather eccentric woman, whose mental age is nowhere close to her physical age, and is something of a cynic. She has a good sense of humour, is a loyal friend, and is pretty much unshockable by anything the human animal comes up with. Twenty-three years working behind the scenes for your local Police will do that to you *g*.

2.         Tell us a bit about your current WIP / latest release. Current WiP is a gay contemporary/timeslip mystery romance titled Paradox - Phil is trapped in a coma, and he's sharing a parallel life. Centuries ago, someone is trying to kill Caius Marcellus Niger - Phil must find out who and why. But he’s alone, and nothing is the way it seems.

Oooooooooooh - my curiosity is peaked already, woman!

Latest release is Game On, Game Over - out from Silver tomorrow, October 8th - John is on a dangerous negotiating mission for MI6 in Tajikistan. Freelance photographer Scott quickly becomes a distraction John can ill afford, but can't ignore. Scott wants into John's bed, but John fears risking the mission…and his heart.

3.         How do you work, do you pick a title first, or characters names, or how they look? I get a rough idea of the basic plot and the characters - who they are, what they look like, then I name them. Names are very important to me. Then I decide on a title. Titles are important to me as well, they somehow ground the whole story. Usually they come fairly easily, but it took a while to settle on Paradox.

4.         When did you know that writing was your passion? Can't say for sure, but it was before I turned ten. So much so that Dad gave me an old ex-office Everest typewriter for a birthday present *g*.

5.         What was your first book and how long did it take to get it published? My first finished book was never published, now will it be. It was the most God-awful drivel imaginable. Well, I was only seventeen... It now sits under my bed fighting off the dust bunnies. First published book [as Chris Power] was Tribute Trail, co-written with my longtime friend Terri Beckett. First solo published work, Dark Waters [as Chris Quinton].

6.         What some don’t realize is that writing is a discipline and you have to proportion a part of your day to it – how long does it usually take you to complete a manuscript? You are so right about the discipline of writing. I try to give at least four hours a day. Sometimes it's longer, sometimes I don't get a chance at all. There's no set timescale for completing, either. Some stories flow faster than others. It can be anything from a few months to several years! I am not a fast writer. I do lots of revisions, tweakings and polishings before I think a story is fit to send off to a publisher.

7.         Do you outline your plots first?  Or are you like me and just go hell for leather? *g* a bit of both. I have a fairly loose outline of what I want to include and where I want the story to go, then I generally set the scene, drop the characters into it and tell them to "Get out of that, boys." Usually they do, and sometimes they surprise me with a twist.

8.         Out of your body of work – do you have a favourite character? That's a difficult question. All of my characters have a place in my heart, so it's not easy to pick out one. I'm very fond of Ash from Starfall, and both John/Aidan and Scott from Game On, Game Over. I'm also fond of Ben Elliot from my next story from Silver, Home and Heart. That's due out in November.

9.         If you were to offer advice to someone starting out, what would you say? Write, write, write. Don't listen to people who put you down, BUT always think about those who give you honest edits and suggestions. They do it because they care about your writing and want to help you learn the trade. It isn't a personal attack. Above all, write, develop your own writing 'voice', and write what YOU want to write, not what's currently selling best. If your heart isn't in your creations, they'll come out flat and mechanical, like a school essay.

10.       Who are your favourite authors, in any genre?  In no particular order, Josh Lanyon, Terry Pratchett, Mary Renault, CJ Cherryh, Lois McMaster Bujold, Richard Stevenson, Diana Gabaldon, Mary Anna Evans, Peter Bowen, Michael Connolly, Jonathan Kellerman... Shall I shut up now? *g*

11.       If you hadn’t chosen writing, or rather, writing hadn’t chosen you, what do you think
You would be doing for a living? Realistically? Pounding a keyboard at my local Police station was my career. It's only since I retired I could be more of a full time writer. Ideally? I would have loved to have been an archaeologist...

12.       What do you do in your free time?  And don’t say writing!  LOL! Okay. Well, with household chores and that word I can't say beginning with 'w', I don't have a lot of free time. When I do, I read, knit, quilt, take photos, visit friends, catch up on my favorite TV shows and films.

13.       What makes you laugh? Terry Pratchett's books. The stupid things our dogs get up to. Jared Padalecki's laugh.

14.       What irritates you most about other people? Bigotry. Pushing their Christian values when those values are cherry-picked straight from the Old Testament and not from the words of Christ.

And finally….

15.       Would you like to share with us your favourite joke?  As of today, it's a cartoon I saw on Facebook - Steve Jobs in front of the Pearly Gates, with Saint Peter riffling through That Big Book - Steve is saying, "I have an app for that..."

Thank you for coming to chat, Chris, and I wish you many sales.

It's been a pleasure talking with Chris and you can find her at:- http://chrisquinton.com

And here’s a little taster of  Game On, Game Over...

John was so engrossed in the painstaking work of excavating the fallen tiles without disturbing the contents of the niches behind them, he nearly fell over when a strange voice said, “Hi.” He regained his equilibrium and glanced up over his shoulder.

“Hello,” Anahita responded, but John barely heard her.

“Ma’am,” the man said, smiling and tipping a nonexistent hat. He was crouched on the planks protecting the edge of the trench. Aviator shades hid his eyes, but his smile was wide and bright. Sun-streaked blond hair curled over his forehead and onto the collar of his blue T-shirt, both emphasizing his tan. He was in his early to mid-twenties, ridiculously good-looking, and not one of the students. A camera hung around his neck. Babcock’s tame photographer, then. And, irritatingly, he was on his own, no Babcock in sight, and no escort either.

John scowled, unwilling to admit to the immediate attraction pulling at him, or the pleasant warmth of incipient arousal in his groin. It was an added complication he didn’t need and he couldn’t allow his libido to get in his way. His solution was simple; a prickly defense kept away all kinds of trouble.
“So where’s Babcock?” John demanded. “I thought he was supposed to show up again.”

“Uh, yeah, but something came up and he sent me instead. I gotta report back to him.”

“You shouldn’t be on site without an escort,” he said curtly.

The man’s smile didn’t waver. “Yeah, I know I need a watchdog.” It was a pleasant drawl, redolent of the American Southwest, and it did nothing to cool John’s blood. “I’m trying to find one. Scott Landon.” He held out his hand.

John planted his hands on his hips and ignored the offered courtesy. “Go over to the building and wait for Professor Preston. He’ll allocate someone to assist you.”

“Been there, done that,” Scott said cheerfully. “No one showed.”

“I expect he’s busy,” Anahita piped up. “I’ll go and see if I can find him for you.”

“Thank you, ma’am.” But he made no move to return to the offices and wait for Mike.

Scott didn’t know what impulse drew him to the trench inside the ruins, but he was grateful for it when the man straightened and turned to face him. He was tall, lean, and sun-browned, his almost-black hair worn a little too long and showing a few threads of silver at the temples, though he was probably under forty. Deeply set in high-cheekboned, hawklike features, dark brown eyes gazed stonily at Scott. Somehow the man managed to give the impression of glaring down his impressive aquiline nose despite his head being on a level with Scott’s knees. While not strictly handsome, his was the most interesting face Scott had seen in years, and also the most attractive. Right now, however, that face was the personification of aloofness. A warm pulse of interest spread through Scott’s blood. Never one to pass up a challenge, he waited until the woman took herself off, then gave the man a thorough checking out from behind the mask of his shades.

“So,” Scott said brightly, “what do you have here?”

“A trench,” he bit out, his rich voice becoming more clipped. “Wait by the offices, Mr Landon.”

“Okay,” he said, not moving. “But please call me Scott. Mr Landon’s my father and it’s way too formal for me.” He widened his smile to an out and out grin, as charming and engaging as he could make it. “Hey, c’mon, you need to loosen up. I’m not like Brent, I swear. Can I come down there?”

“I do not need to do anything, Mr Landon,” the man said icily, “and no, you can’t. Go away.”

Scott sighed, and wondered what the man’s mouth would be like when it wasn’t pressed into a thin line. Of course, he might not be gay, but he wouldn’t be the first so-called straight guy whom Scott persuaded sexual experimentation was a good idea, though he might be the most difficult. Nor was the setting ideal for seduction. But, as Scott reminded himself, a faint heart never won tall, dark, and interesting.

FRIDAY FRIENDS - LYNNE CRAIN !

On the sofa with me today is the lovely Lynn Crain...

Thank you for joining me on the sofa, Lynn and for agreeing to answer some questions for us.

1.         So who is Lynn? Wow...you cut to the chase quick...don’t you? LOL! I’m a mumble-mumble-mumble...what didn’t hear that? It’s hard for me to believe I’ve been on this earth for over 50 years. I have two sons, two grandsons, one fantastic daughter-in-law and the most amazing friends on earth. And I’m thousands of miles away from all that living in Vienna, Austria for the next few years. My dear husband is on temporary assignment with the UN and we decided to run away from home for a while. Right now, I’d say I’m learning my way in a totally new life and that includes getting to know the city I live in as well as a new language.

2.         Tell us a bit about your current WIP / latest release. Well...I haven’t had a release out for a while because this move has taken so much of my time here recently. I will have a short out called A Lover For Rachel out by the end of the month. I’ve been working on the novel I’ve loving called Where’s My Underwear? for a while and it’s almost ready for submission by my agent to various markets. It’s a wonderful Scottish theme contemporary. I’m also working on another Scottish piece called Her Bonny Shores I hope to have released here shortly as well.

3.         How do you work, do you pick a title first, or characters names, or how they look? It really depends upon what the story tells me. Sometimes it’s a picture like in the book I previously mentioned, Where’s My Underwear? that I found a picture and I wondered what the story would be. I found out when they started to talk to me...they being the characters...LOL! Sometimes a title is all that comes to me...like another WIP I have going called Sex Toys and Giveaways...which came to me during a critique sessions. We were all rolling by the end of the evening. Others will totally start with the characters. I’ve had one guy hanging around for years but he won’t tell me his story yet. I’m hoping he will soon because he’s one hot dude! LOL!

4.         When did you know that writing was your passion? When I was twelve. I wrote what I thought was the next Gone With The Wind and lovingly cared for it for at least the next few years. I still have some of the original artwork a friend drew for me.

5.         What was your first book and how long did it take to get it published? Not counting the one I did when I was twelve? Well, it didn’t...matter of fact...there were about four that didn’t get published before I finally did get something out there. I’m thinking about dragging all those old things out and seeing if they can be saved. I have a great crit group that will be honest with me about them. If there’s a possibility, maybe I’ll revive them. Now about my sixth story was a science fiction short that I revamped a little called Fluke. It did get published and spawned a series, The Orchid Series, which I hope to have book three out next year.

6.         What some don’t realize is that writing is a discipline and you have to proportion a part of your day to it – how long does it usually take you to complete a manuscript? Again, it totally depends upon my manuscript. Some won’t shut-up and I’ve been known to complete them in a month or less. It also depends upon the word count. I can easily pound out a 20K novella in a week. Longer manuscripts can take a long time, especially if I’m world-building because I tend to be very anal in that case and want it all perfect.

7.         Do you outline your plots first?  Or are you like me and just go hell for leather? I am just like you and go all out. I’m a true pantser in most cases. The stories I have to plan are longer works that are series, like the fantasy romance I’ve been working of for a long time. I’ve planned that one totally out and am in the process of learning a whole new language just so I can put it in the book. I didn’t want to make up my own, so I’ll be using Gaelic as the base. I’ve already taken a three month course and now I’ve enrolled in the Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, a Gaelic only college on the Isle of Skye. This series is truly a labor of love.

8.         Out of your body of work – do you have a favourite character? This is really a hard one. I would say that all my characters are my favorite. There are ones that I concentrate more on than others but to me, they are like children and I can’t chose just one. LOL! Right now, it would have to be my Scottish based heroes...I couldn’t live without them!

9.         If you were to offer advice to someone starting out, what would you say? It’s a line from one of my favorite movies: Never give up, never surrender. That’s from Galaxy Quest and it’s so true about writing. You have to believe in yourself that you’ll always strive to get better but never give up submitting until you get the call. It will come but one must have patience and persistence as it won’t come until you’re ready and not one second before.

10.       Who are your favourite authors, in any genre? I have a lot of favorites. One thing I do is find all the cheap authors on Kindle and Kobo as I know I’ll find one or two worth following and buying all their stuff. I love reading Linnea Sinclair, Melissa Schroeder, Cindy Spencer Pape, Diane Deeds, Ann Duran and almost any Carina Press or eXtasy Books author. I love people who have been around for years like Jennifer Robberson, C.J. Cherryh, and Kathleen O’Neal. My tastes are wide and varied. Right now I’m reading two sci-fi works, three romances and studying three research books.

11.       If you hadn’t chosen writing, or rather, writing hadn’t chosen you, what do you think you would be doing for a living? This one’s hard as I can’t imagine doing anything else other than writing. If I had to choose another profession I’d probably be a doctor or something like that as I love helping people. Maybe work for the UN like my husband does. Its mission is truly incredible if you take the time to look at the big picture.

12.       What do you do in your free time?  And don’t say writing! One of the big reasons I came to Austria is to travel Europe. I’d been to the UK and Scotland twice but not to Europe proper until this past February. There were promises I made my husband give me when we came here and one of them was travel without him worrying about the cost as his Scottish nature comes out when talking money. LOL! We’ll be doing our first trip either this weekend or next and we plan to go to Salzburg. It should be great fun!

13.       What makes you laugh? It’s hard to say. I can find humor in almost every situation but there are days I can’t stand my husband’s very dry comedy. Recently, when I’d gone back to the States to finish getting all out things accumulated after  20 years in the same house packed and away, I saw Friends With Benefits with my best friend. We laughed our asses off. That’s one of the first romantic comedies I’ve seen in a long time that was truly joyous. Everyone who writes romance should see it.

14.       What irritates you most about other people? When they’re rude. I’ve had a couple of instances of that here and it’s been mainly because of the language barrier. That’s why I’m taking a class. LOL!

And finally….

15.       Would you like to share with us your favourite joke?  I’m really not a joke person and the only one that comes to mind starts like this...two Irishmen came out of a bar...no wait, it can really happen. LOL! And Irishmen can be substituted with any ethnic group...Scotsmen, English, American...you name it.

Thank you for coming to chat, Lynn and I wish you many sales.

Thanks...I’ve enjoyed being here!

It's been a pleasure talking with Lynn and you can find her at:-

BLURB:
Maggie Grey had wanted to be a doctor all her life. She achieved her dream along with her husband, Justin. Together they planned to build a clinic on his ancestral home on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. But women doctors in the year 1882 didn’t have many options and even fewer if they were widowed like she had been recently. Arriving in England to visit Elizabeth Blackwell, founder of the London Medical School for Woman, she is discouraged to find that the only real health care on the remote Isle of Skye will be herself, a few aging doctors as well as veterinary doctors.
But she must build a clinic there to escape her memories and fulfill her late husband’s dream. Maggie goes by train and boat to the rather bleak Isle of Skye. The island is almost as barren as she feels and she isn’t sure if she can even fit in. Add the fact that her dead husband is haunting her with the request for her to fall in love again and she knows she’s losing her mind.
But the people of Skye need her…and she is determined not to let them down...but they are slow to accept a widowed woman doctor. Now if she were married again…that would be a different matter…and her dead husband, Justin, knows just the right man for the job, Conall MacGryman, his childhood friend and cousin, a veterinary for the island. Now all Justin has to do is to convince Maggie to give the man a chance so she can fall in love again…for both their sakes.

TEASER EXCERPT:

Maggie sighed again for what seemed like the millionth time and looked around the small ferry house. Very few people remained as all were picked up by others or had walked out themselves. The room was little more than a floor, walls and a ceiling in her estimation. She supposed they were lucky it had a bathroom facility.
She wondered where the carriage could be. It had taken them about four hours to get across on the ferry and another hour just to make sure all their luggage was with them. She could not afford to lose one precious piece of medical equipment. She had taken a large portion of the inheritance Justin had left her to obtain those supplies. A feeling of abandonment overcame her as she stood in the midst of all the boxes and parcels.
“Are you sure they knew you were coming, young lady?”
“Of course, Mrs. Andrews. Elizabeth was actually the one who informed them we were on our way. I saw her write the letter myself. I expected someone to meet us here long ago.” She looked around the ferry depot, praying she had not missed whoever came to pick them up. “Maybe I should go outside and check. A lot of these men are crofters and might not feel comfortable inside.”
Going outside the ferry house, she looked around at all the hustle and bustle as well as the mud kicked up by both carriage and horse as the last of the passengers finally left. It had rained quite hard during their ride on the ferry and the crossing had taken longer because of it. But it was going on three hours since their landing and surely the sun would be soon setting. Straining to see the land, she tried to discern if there were any accommodations where they could stay for the night.
          “Miss?”
The deep voice resonated through her being and she whirled to see who had spoken. The man standing before her, a full head and a half taller than she, appeared gigantic. His barrel chest and muscular forearms spoke of a life of hard labor as did his huge callused hands. His blatant sexuality with his bedroom eyes and roguish smile made her heart do things it had not in months. “Yes?” Her voice came out in a breathless whisper.
          “Are yeu Margaret Grey?”
Even if she straightened to her full height, she would feel small in this man’s presence.
“I am Conall MacGryman and I am here to take yeu to Roskill.”
Bypassing his handsome face and glancing again at his size, it was all she could do to nod her head and pray she was not making a mistake.

FRIDAY FRIENDS - DAWNE PROCHILO !

I have my lovely mate, Dawne Prochilo on the sofa with me this Friday to give us a sneaky peek at her latest, His Holiday Seduction - although I'm making her put her feet on my lap as we talk as she's not to overdo it....take it away my lovely...

Excerpt from a holiday release with Romance Divine, His Seduction Plan (scheduled release October 8, 2011)

“Dani?” Hunter's voice broke through her thoughts.
“Yes.” She swallowed hard.
“I want you.” Those three words so full of confidence. Direct and self-explanatory. His hand slid up her forearm and gently caressed her bicep before touching her shoulder.
“Me?” She shivered under his touch. His hand continued tracing along her shoulder to her collarbone.
“Yes, Dani. You,” he murmured moving closer. He was so close, his breath brushed on her cheek and she inhaled sharply, shut her eyes allowing her mind to wander to his next move.
“Do you want me, Dani?” His mouth was inches from her face.
“Yes, I want you too.” She suppressed a moan. “I want you bad.”
“Let's go then.” He kissed her cheek, his lips hot against her skin.
“To where? The bedroom?”
“No. Somewhere better.” Another kiss, this one on her chin.
Dani opened her eyes. “Where?”
“Over here.” Hunter stood, held her hand assisting her to stand.
As their bodies met, Dani recognized the hardness of his body including the bulge in his pants. The stiffness didn't alarm her but she stifled a moan in her throat.
“Oh God, “she whispered against Hunter's lips. “I want you too.”
“I'm going to please you Dani,” he promised. “And once won't be enough.”
“Once?”
“I mean more than one pleasure release now and more hereafter.” His statement was full of desire and a future.
“Really?” She stopped kissing him.
“Really, I've wanted you for a long time Dani.”
“How long?” The question escaped before she stopped herself from asking.
“Since the first time I saw your months ago.” He lowered his mouth, capturing hers.
“The bedroom?” She asked when she finally forced their lips apart.
“No.” He dipped his head and started nibbling her neck.
“Then where?”
“Here,” he said in between kisses. Wrapping his arms around her full waist, he led her towards the recliner. His mind was more on this chair than the movie they'd just finished watching. The closing credits music filled the room as the back of his knees bumped into the chair. “Here.”
“The recliner?” Dani smirked.
“Yes. Is that okay?”
“Oh, no. It's perfect.”

*****

Hunter started unbuttoning Dani's blouse. The soft pink fabric was smooth and barely covered the fact she was wearing a dark bra beneath. His fingers fumbled with the buttons until she interceded and took control. Within seconds she had all the buttons undone, revealing a lacy black bra against her soft skin. Incredible came to mind when thinking of her breasts. Hunter was awestruck by the ampleness of her bosom. He'd fantasized about cupping them with his hands and sucking them with his mouth for months.
When she finished with her blouse, she lowered her hands to his waistband and undid his belt with his jeans zipper and button following. His hands slid over her breasts, finding their way around her and unclasping her bra. The confines of her bra opening, her breasts released in glory. His hands greedily began cupping until his fingers found the nipples. His fingers tweaked and twisted the hard tip causing an eruption in her throat.
“Oh God Hunter. Don't stop.” Her hands slid in between his jeans, cupping his ass.

FRIDAY FRIENDS - BONNI SANSOM!

Welcome to Friday Friends with one of my Friday Flash Fiction partners, the lovely Bonni Sansom!

She has very kindly agreed to answer some questions for me as I pop her blog guest cherry...are we sitting comfortably, then we'll begin....

Thank you for joining me on the sofa, Bonni and for agreeing to answer some questions for us.

1.         So who is Bonni Sansom?

Bonni is a wife/mom first and foremost. Whose family is everything to her. She is also a very passionate writer of erotic romance. She lives through the lives of her characters, enjoys their company, celebrates their triumphs, experiences their most intimate moments and cries with their tragedies. Of course she also rejoices in their HEA.  She grew up in the Deep South, with the guidance of loving parents. She’s just a small town girl who loves to laugh, be herself and write from the heart.

2.         Tell us a bit about your current WIP / latest release.

Eternal Bliss is an erotic love story between a sassy wedding planner and a hot firefighter. They meet accidentally, but sparks fly that ignites a passion that cannot be denied. It’s a passionate piece that’s close to my heart because it was my first wip. These characters Laine and Kyle have been my constant companions for the last two years, so when I finish with it, I’ll truly miss them.

 3.         How do you work, do you pick a title first, or characters names, or how they look?

Usually the characters pick me. They come to me in the shower of all places and start telling me their stories. I bought bath crayons just for the occasion. Sometimes they come to me with names and sometimes they come to me with their story. I don’t plot or plan I truly let the characters lead, and they never steer me wrong.

4.         When did you know that writing was your passion?

I’ve always known writing was a passion. I wrote poems in high school, I’ve almost always kept a journal, and I just enjoy being able to tell a story. I don’t really think it’s a passion, but more of a calling.

5.         What was your first book and how long did it take to get it published?

My first book was Eternal Bliss and while I have not yet been published I hope to be under contract very soon.

6.         What some don’t realize is that writing is a discipline and you have to proportion a part of your day to it – how long does it usually take you to complete a manuscript?

It depends on the story. If it’s a short it could be completed in as little as a couple of weeks. If it’s a full length novel, it usually takes me months to complete. I spend the majority of my day pecking away on various stories, with very diverse characters.

7.         Do you outline your plots first?  Or are you like me and just go hell for leather?

As I said before I don’t plot, I just go with it letting my characters surprise me the whole way through. I totally write from the seat of my pants.

8.         Out of your body of work – do you have a favourite character?

Yes I have a favorite. Laine has to be my favorite character because she is most like me. We would be BFF’s in real life.

9.         If you were to offer advice to someone starting out, what would you say?

Depends on whether or not it’s a passion or a fancy. I would ask them “If you knew without a shadow of a doubt you would never be published, would you still write?” If the answer was “yes”, then I would tell them to go for it. If the answer was no, then I would tell them to find another career.

10.       Who are your favourite authors, in any genre?

There are too many talented authors to list, but my favorite genre is erotic romance. Anything romance actually.

11.       If you hadn’t chosen writing, or rather, writing hadn’t chosen you, what do you think
You would be doing for a living?

If I weren’t writing, I suppose I would be a truck driver. That’s what I did before I became a mother. It was so much fun traveling all over the country seeing the sights. I miss it.

12.       What do you do in your free time?  And don’t say writing!

What free time? I have a 4 yr old daughter and a 13 yr old son. I have no free time.

13.       What makes you laugh?

My kids make me laugh every day. But my characters for the most part keep me in stitches. Especially Laine, she’s a real sarcastic, feisty character.

14.       What irritates you most about other people?

I get seriously irritated with peoples negativity. Life is way too short to be bummed out about every little thing. I think you should find a way to laugh at everything except death and taxes.

And finally….

15.       Would you like to share with us your favourite joke?

I don’t think I have a favorite joke. There are too many really good ones. For instance on my blog each week I have the joke of the day and it seems to be a popular thing.

Thank you for coming to chat, Bonni it has been a blast and I don't think you'll have any trouble getting a contract, having read your teaser and your other stuff, I have no doubt it'll be snapped up soon.

It's been a pleasure talking with Bonni and you can find her at:-

And here’s a little taster of  Eternal Bliss - enjoy!

Kyle was doing all he could not to come in his jeans. She was so fucking beautiful when she came. Her pale pink nipples beaded even harder. Her skin flushed a pretty rose color, her muscles quivered; her moans had just about made him look like a teenage boy. He was seconds from joining her in ecstasy. Her pussy had been so slick and hot he’d wanted to dive right in.
He knew he wouldn’t last very long, not the first time anyway. He planned to make love to her all night. She might just be the one he’d finally get to hold through the night.
He’d never really been in a relationship before, but he was willing to give it a try. Of course, he hadn’t expected the woman of his dreams would be rich. So rich in fact that she could fit his house inside her kitchen. That’s not intimidating at all.
“Take off your pants.” She unbuckled his belt and flicked open his button. He took over, his zipper making a rasping sound. His cock sprang free into her hands. It took all of his control not to come in her hands. He did his times tables, he thought about mowing the grass, he thought about doing his taxes, anything to make it to her sweet pussy. The musky smell of her arousal permeated the air, charging him.
She backed away from him and slid her skirt down the long expanse of her legs. The black heels she still wore made them even longer. He imagined taking her from behind, her legs spread, heels on, in nothing but her little scrap of a thong. He noticed her eyes bulge at the sight of him, she flushed a pretty pink color, and her nostrils flared.  She eyed the bead of pre-come and licked her lips, but he knew he’d never last in her mouth. She stroked his shaft torturing him. “Dammit, baby I don’t want to come in your hands.” She stopped stroking him.
“I don’t want you to come in my hands either. I want to feel you inside me.” He toed off his boots, kicked off his jeans, and donned a condom in seconds. He backed her to the bed laid her down, positioned himself at her entrance, and slid in one unbearable inch at a time. “Damn, your tight baby,” he said through clenched teeth. She locked her legs around his waist, her heels digging into his ass, spurring him on. His thrusts were jerky and halting. He was just a few seconds away from coming. Two times two is four. Two times three is…I don’t give a damn.
He felt her pussy vise grip him, her orgasm washing over both of them. He pumped a few more times and let go, coming in jerky spurts.
“You’re amazing, baby.” He rested his forehead against hers. They were both covered in a light sheen of sweat, both out of breath, both satiated for the moment. He caught his breath and rolled off of her pulling her to rest on his chest. God, he could get used to this. He didn’t want to, but he had to get up to dispose of the condom. “Which one of these doors is the bathroom?” He stood looking at two walls and three doors. He didn’t want to look like an idiot walking into a closet.
“Second door on the right, but hurry back I’m still horny.” She stretched out on her bed, giving him an incentive to return quickly. Damn, he knew she’d be a wildcat in bed. And, she was definitely not a Minivan. But, then the thought of her being one didn’t really matter one way or the other. He just wanted to be with her.
