FLASH FICTION FRIDAY!!

Hello my pretties and welcome to Flash Fiction Friday, where you will find one hundred words per week based upon a picture chosen at random by either myself or my cohorts in this marvellous adventure.  Make sure you follow the at the bottom of this post to see what other delights await you.

I stared into his eyes.  Deep green eyes like a stormy sea on a winter’s day.  The bronze of his torso gleaming in the harsh lights surrounding us.  His fingers were warm curled around my neck and his muscles flexed beneath my hand where it lay against his knee.  I knew I was envied by the watching crowd.  Knew they all wanted to replace me.  I tried to keep desire burning in my gaze as the camera flashed, while wondering how they’d feel if they knew the most beautiful model in the world had the worst breath I’d ever encountered.

Here I sit on her right side like some giant gooseberry.  She, of course, keeps leaning in to hear what he’s saying.  That’s what he does, draws them in like a moth to a flame, with his big eyes and charming smile—asshole. The sight of her red hair brushing against his cheek as she moves in closer still and her tinkling laugh grates on my nerves as she bats her eyelashes.

It’s my own fault for introducing them. He catches my gaze and telegraphs silent thanks. I smile encouragingly—idiot.

My best friend and my sister… what’ve I done?

Sue sighed heavily; he was whistling in the shower—again—except he couldn’t carry a tune in a handbag. She’d been lying on the bed when he’d arrived home and he’d gazed at her, a smile curving his lips.  “I’ll be two minutes.”
Two minutes my ass.  Fifteen minutes later he was still fucking whistling and she was feeling less femme fatale and more femme fa-corpse as she waited.  Maybe he’d move faster if he knew she’d been in this position and several other more acrobatic ones all day with one subtle difference… the gardener didn’t whistle in the shower.
A huge thank you to my bestie, Sue Brown for allowing me to lay her horizontally on the bed this week.  Make sure you click on her name to check out her blog and her new releases, Light of Day (Nightporter 2) and Masquerade: The Layered Mask.

Christian gently kissed Xavier’s temple, “I have to go, baby.  I’ve got a class in half an hour,” he said, standing up and gazing down at his lover.  “Don’t say it.  You’re forgiven.  As if I’d let anyone come between us—you’re mine.”

He kissed Xavier again, wiping a leaf from his hair and purposely ignoring the dark purple bruising already visible around his lover’s throat.  He vaguely remembered the sound Xavier’s windpipe had made when he’d crushed it, but that didn’t matter now.  This was their place.  Their secret place, and Xavier would be waiting for him there—forever.

A huge thank you to Christian Jensen and Xavier Axelson for allowing me to slip them in this week's FFF.  Make sure you click on their names to see what wickedly wonderful things they've been up to and make sure you check out Lily, Xavier's new release.

Tom shivered, the polished wood of the table was cold against his bare ass.  He couldn’t remember how long he’d been in this position, legs bent, hands clasped between them.
He remembered the guy in the bar, soft conversation and the ease with which the drinks slid down his throat.  Then nothing.
A shuffling from across the room had his heart leaping into his mouth when a barely human voice rasped, “Don’t scream.  It makes him mad.”
“Where are we?” Tom hissed, peering into the dark.
His blood turned to ice water in his veins when the voice replied, “Hell.”

A huge thank you to Tom Webb for being this week's guest star.  Make sure you head on over to his blog, Bear on Books to check out his wonderful reviews.

And make sure you do the clicky clicky to check out all the other one hundreds in relation to this week's pic.

I feel his eyes on me, their weight on my skin a caress, but he doesn't approach. He never approaches me.  Why don't you approach him? I hear you ask.  Have you seen you?  As if he'd turn you down.  I get that a lot from people who, just because you're easy on the eye, you can get whoever you want—I wish.  It doesn't work that way.
I try to attract his attention, jutting out my hips and running a hand down my chest, waiting, hoping… but he simply slips away into the shadows and I’m left alone… again.

Don't forget to click on the linky and find your way to the other interpretations of this picture by my uber-talented playmates.  Flash Fiction Friday!!!!

“What the hell is going on here?” I gazed around the bathroom, staring at my housemates’ faces.  Tom held up his hands, shaking his head.
“It’s not what it looks like.”
“Explain it to me.” I crossed the room to the tub and stared down at the blond with his arm draped over the side, noting the bruising on his neck and the emptiness in his eyes.
Rough fingers around my throat, squeezed.  I couldn’t draw in enough breath to cry out, to plead with Tom, who turned away, shamefaced, and a voice rasped in my ear, “We’ll show you.”

Who’s fucking idea was this?  It wasn’t mine.  If it was, I’d be the one on the balcony, not the asshole climbing the wall! Stuart looked so fucking adorable twenty minutes ago when he’d suggested the whole balcony scene, starring Romeo and Romeo—his hands down my pants were probably to blame for the speed with which I acquiesced.
He’s to blame for the scratches on my hands and the graze on my knee, but when he reaches out for me, the kiss I press to his knuckles is all me… can’t help it… like I said he’s fucking adorable...

Joining me today are a bevy of other beauties and a few gorgeous guys - fantastically talented authors who have contributed to this week’s Flash Friday Fiction.  Please click on their names and stop by their blogs to read very different interpretations of the same picture.

From the bedroom window, Eric had the perfect view of the drive as they came in droves to the annual Halloween party.  Their excitement rolled off them in waves, their scent washing over him, filling him with the promise of the night ahead.  “What do you think Richard?  Who should be the entrĂ©e this year?” he scratched the chin of the black cat nestled in his arms. The latest in a long line of Richards mewled lazily and Eric smiled, the movement revealing elongated incisors.  “Your taste is exquisite, as always.  Well, my furry friend, time to ring the dinner bell.”

She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye.  His cigarette hung from between his lips, a laconic smile lifting the corners of his mouth.  As always, he was sated and content — which was good, one of them ought to be. She sighed and shot him a forced smile as he put his arm around her, and pulled her close against him.  Of course she wouldn’t tell him, she never did.  She’d just wait until Mr Two Pumps and a Squirt had gone to sleep and then she’d sneak off to meet her ‘other’ man… Reggie the rabbit.
